This is great for pie.

4 Tbsp cocoa
Dash (about 1/2 tsp) salt
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp flour
2 eggs
2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp butter

Combine the dry ingredients thoroughly and add in the eggs and a bit of the milk and combine until you get a sticky paste. Add in the rest of the milk and whisk until completely combined. Simmer over low heat stirring constantly until the mixture starts to boil or fluffs up. Remove from the heat and add in the butter and vanilla. Let set and serve warm or add into a pie crust and chill until cool. Makes about 5-6 servings.

It is and makes a great pie filling. I switched to cake flour because the taste of AP flour was coming through to much. You can also try corn starch or tapioca flour if you want a milder taste.
