I see they didn't give a reason for the shut down. What did DC host anyway?

I know DC hosted the Beyond Skyrim project among other modding projects, but that's all I know I am afraid as I left DC over 5 years ago soon after Anda abandon DC for good.

I think Vorians (he is already a member at TAL) knows a lot more than Anda or I know about the hosted project on DC.

DC is shutting down because the site owner don't want to pay for a site that was not really used anymore - because of Discord. Most users are now on Discord and don't visit the forum anymore. DC will not be the last forum who suffer from this development.

In my opinion first Facebook gave a blow to both MSN and forums.
Now Discord gave another blow to forums.
I almost thought of suggesting Wolflore opens a discord... but not sure if it would work out.
