Well, at least an original idea.

As I near old fart age, I'm starting to miss the creativity of the early age of gaming, back in the '80s. Damn, they had like 8 colors and pixels were as big as dinner plates, but they put together some of the most addictive games I've ever played.

This was a great idea for a game but it's a shame it gets boring so quickly.

I *am* an old fart. And for little my opinion's worth, I think that any "artform" goes through a period of wild creativity before the CEOs and attorneys turn it into an industry. Same thing happened with early cinema. Sure, it was primitive, but it tried all sorts of fascinating things, most of which were abandoned when film was straitjacketed years later. Not to say that film in the 1920s was without magnificent results, or games even now, but the horizon of the possible shrinks.
