So it's been announced. Here's the trailer for anyone who hasn't yet seen it.

So, are you all as excited as I am? Curious to see whay you guys want them to do/to not do for this one.

Definitely looks like more of the same, which I guess I'm OK with when it comes to Bethesda games. Even if their stuff tends to be pretty generic, it's high-quality generic.

I suppose the old PC is due for another hardware upgrade anyway.

I just want a dog that isn't a robot. Rex was cute but I miss Dogmeat. And any time I tried to get a mod for Dogmeat he was bugged.

Ever tried Tail of Two Wastelands Fen???
You can take Dogmeat with you to new Vegas, and you don't even have to finish any of the FO:3 quests before going to New Vegas.

I think I tried it before but I didn't like.something about it. Don't quite remember what. I think it was that it still used the FO:3 engine and aiming.

I runs in FO:NV, didn't think it used the systems for FO:3 unless they were left unchanged by Obsidian when they edited the game mechanics. Either way in my FO play-through I have both pups, and they both get along great :D

I'm not sure why I didn't like TTW. I'm not even sure I even tried it. The first half of this year has just been a blur. But I've downloaded TTW and I'm redownloading FO3.

So, from what I understand, it is literally just the assets from FO:3 used in NV's engines? So replacer mods I use in NV will port over, as well as the currently existing mechanics like iron sights?


More importantly, will the Readius work?

you know I've never tried Readius, but yeah Iron Sights will work with the FO:NV weapons. I some how ended up with a Anti Personnel Rifle, and ammo for it, early in the FO:3 storyline last time I played through the games, so I think the merged the leveled lists in the version of TTW that I have. I know like Oblivion, and Skyrim Mods that shall not be named they are still working on it trying to still iron out any bugs.
At any rate I do hope you enjoy it.
The mod I have that removes the limit of Companions for FO:NV works with it I think. I know by the time I finished I had Two robots, Two Super Mutants (well one super mutant,a nd a night kin, and the two dogs, plus I have Sarah Lyons companion for TTW, so I had, Two Power Armored maniac women running around with me too.
