Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel (PS2)

Postby Fenrir » Sun Mar 01, 2015 12:03 am

So I've recently learned there was indeed a Fallout game for PS2 and Xbox consoles.
Apparently it was terrible.
But, I've also learned it had something I really, really, really like - FO1's Vault Dweller as a playable character. I'm very excited for that, so I intend to get the game. But I'm curious - Any of you have any experience with the game, and what's so bad about it?
I mean, it's Fallout and the Vault Dweller is back as a grizzled old man, what's not to love?

Well, Fen, the game is a linear adventure, you cannot revisit areas, and you have to first meet the Vault Dweller to play as him. And the fact that you are going to be butt hurt trying to find a way out. There is no way to recruit followers, but there is a Co-OP mode.

The game plays in 480p. But that is not an issue for hardcore gamers like us.

I don't care about how it looks if the gameplay's fun. Apparently the story's awful, too. And yeah, you actually need to beat the game before you can play as the vault dweller... But it sounds so worth it.

Oh, did I mention? The level design is bullshit.
