I don't mind caves as long as there's enough room so that I know I can back out if I need to. Submarines I think would be a different matter simply because you can't back out when you decide it's time to leave.

I like the idea of a single well-guarded treasure. As long as the treasure is worth the effort when combined with the loot from the guardian(s). Somehow, I always feel like I've been ripped when the "treasure" turns out to be 3 gold. I also like the notion that treasure can be in other forms... like a missing person who is carrying important information, or a map or something.
